Yes, I do mean 'freebies'. These are bits and pieces of computer kit stripped out of equipment over several years. I tend to throw away stuff that is known 'non-working', so most of this was probably OK., when removed. However it is all supplied without any form of warranty, and I don't want to incur any costs to myself in getting rid of it. Most of it lacks driver disks, cables etc. Hence anybody wanting some of this, will have to collect himself, or be prepared to pay P&P. We are in Harlow, ESSEX, U.K., so this is going to be of most interest to people reasonably close to here. All the motherboards have processor fitted.
1) 286-16 motherboard. Takes 4*30pin SIMM's.
4) ETN-100B network card. BNC & DB-15 connectors.
6) AST Rampage Plus 286 card. I think this was a LIM memory card, takes 8*30pin SIMM's.
7) Samsung 'one page' display adapter & monitor. This is an 'upright' display system. Have disks, don't know if they are still readable, but believe there were drivers for early versions of Windows and Gem etc.
9) Future Domain TMC-850M SCSI adapter. A basic 8bit SCSI card, probably came with a scanner or something.
12) Creative Labs CD-ROM. This is the type that has the 'proprietary' interface, that connects to the original SoundBlaster cards. This is _not_ an IDE drive. Useful to somebody who has an older SB, but hasn't got a CD.
14) 'Dual' Floppy drive. This is a 5.25inch unit, with both a 5.25 and 3.5" in one caseing. Useful if you need both in one 'space'. A bit dirty, but I think it was working.
15) ISA 'P&P' IDE card. This was designed for a CD-ROM, from Creative labs, and offers a single IDE interface. It is a 'Plug and Play' card, so requires software to set it up, but it may be useful for something.
Anyone interested in these bits, email me, with a return address, and the item number(s) you are after.
With very good wishes to you all.
